Arts & Culture in West Dunbartonshire - Clydebank Museum

Clydebank Museum celebrates the rich heritage of Clydebank focusing on Shipbuilding, Singers and the Clydebank Blitz. Artefacts, models and items from the collection illustrate the story of the people of Clydebank. Occasional temporary exhibitions and touring exhibitions form part of the museum's programme. Group and school visits are very welcome, please call for more details. The Town Hall and Museum are fully accessible for the disabled, please contact us if you have any concerns or questions on 0141 562 2400. Guides are available in large print.

 

Clydebank Museum is situated in Clydebank Town Hall on Dumbarton Road.

Parking is available on Hall Street, to the right of the Town Hall although at busy periods this can be limited.

Local shops, restaurants and cafes can be found nearby.

We welcome group visits but ask that you give us a quick call so that we know to expect you. If you'd like a guided tour, please ask one of our staff or volunteers who'd be delighted to help.

Open Art Show 2009

June 20th - July 25th 2009 at Clydebank Museum,Dumbarton Road, Clydebank

Tues - Saturday 10am - 1pm & 2pm - 4.30pm

Following the success of previous Open Art Shows, the show this year takes place during the summer months at Clydebank Museum. This very popular exhibition is an excellent opportunity to view a broad selection of work produced by Scottish and local artists.

All works will be for sale - an ideal and unique summer wedding gift perhaps?
