The Exhibitions Service promotes community-based exhibitions across the authority. The exhibition programme includes national touring exhibitions featuring internationally recognised artists, and smaller scale temporary exhibitions of local interest including local artists and history. The Backdoor Gallery in Dalmuir is the authority's only purpose built gallery and hosts exhibitions throughout the year.
