Planning application forms can be downloaded from this site. The packs are in PDF Format and require Adobe Reader to be installed before they can be viewed.
The forms have been colour coded into Beige (Householder) and Aqua (Non Householder) and are very easy to complete with clear guidance on how to fill them in. You may wish to use the correct corresponding coloured paper when printing.

In order to determine if a planning application is required for demolitions of buildings, electricity proposals or forestry/agricultural proposals these application forms should be completed and returned to the department with the relevant drawings of the proposed works.

Scale of fees
You will normally be required to pay a fee for this service. The current scale of fees, set by the Scottish Government, can be obtained from the Scottish Government website http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Publications/2007/03/30135248/3
Payment of Fees
At this moment we only accept cash payment (in person) or payment by cheque (Payable to West Dunbartonshire Council).
Advertising in the local press
If your planning application is required to be advertised in the local newspapers (Dumbarton and Vale of Leven Reporter or Clydebank Post), then the fee for this service is £100.
