Developing Strathclyde Limited has been set up to provide loan finance to small businesses and social enterprises and covers all of West Dunbartonshire.
Applicants will need to demonstrate that the lending will help to significantly improve the economic situation in a socially disadvantaged area.
The assistance will be funding of last resort and will therefore have to be part of a package of funding.
