The aim of NEAT is to increase the number of vocational traineeships for young people within West Dunbartonshire.
It will offer a financial grant to companies who will give young people, between 18 and 23 years of age, both on and off the job training which will enable that person to achieve an apprenticeship within that company's industry.
The level of grant will be dependent upon the recruit (who must be resident in West Dunbartonshire) and their circumstances. NEAT is a partnership between West Dunbartonshire Council, Jobcentre, Scottish Enterprise Dunbartonshire, Careers Service and Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce.
