Alexandria Town Centre

Infrastructure Investment Plan - Alexandria main

Alexandria is one of the three town centres in West Dunbartonshire. It has a traditional high street (Main Street), with an area of more recent, but dated development to the east (Mitchell Way). The Alexandria Town Centre Masterplan (2008) outlines guidelines for six development sites in and around the town centre, including residential development on the former Kippen Dairy site and the redevelopment and refurbishment of Mitchell Way, which is central to the regeneration of the town centre.
