Infrastructure Investment Plan - Dumbarton mainDumbarton has a traditional high street with the 1970's built Artizan Centre shopping precinct extending northwards from its middle. A further commercial area is located in the adjacent St James Retail Park. The town has a number of potential investment opportunities.

Dumbarton waterfront, adjacent to the High Street, has development opportunity sites on either side of Castle Street and housing development sites on either side of Castle Road. Collectively these sites have a magnificent setting adjacent to Dumbarton Rock and Castle, the River Leven and the River Clyde.
