Valuation Banding
Your home will fall within a valuation band between 'A' and 'H' determined by the Assessor based on property values as at 1 April 1991.
The amount of tax you pay is related to your valuation band, i.e. higher banded properties attract the higher liability.
Valuation Band Property Value
A - Up to £27,000
B - £27,000 to £35,000
C - £35,000 to £45,000
D - £45,000 to £58,000
E - £58,000 to £80,000
F - £80,000 to £106,000
G - £106,000 to £212,000
H - Over £212,000
