All West Dunbartonshire schools and nurseries are open as normal. Because of the extreme shortage of grit at this time, pupils, staff and parents should be aware that footpaths, car parks and playgrounds may be icy and are asked to take care in these areas. In order to avoid congestion at school gates. parents are asked not to drop their children within the school premises or at the gates but instead to drop them at a safe point some distance from the school.
