Other live acts on stage at the Gala Day include tribute act the Kitty Kat Dolls, and guest appearances from "Groove Idol” winners Darrell Muldoon and Paul Cericloa.
The Gala Day will also provide plenty of other entertainment for the whole family, including a children’s funfair, magic shows, face painting and birds of prey. There will be a variety of charity and community stalls there too.
Dave Ross from YOUR Radio, who will be running a Roadshow at the event, said: “We are really looking forward to hosting the Roadshow. The team here at YOUR Radio always enjoy getting into the community in Alexandria, and with the added excitement around the Singer Station performance it's going to be a great day for everyone in The Vale! We'll be keeping everyone entertained throughout the afternoon!"
Provost Denis Agnew said: “West Dunbartonshire Council is always pleased to support local talent, and has been doing so throughout the summer festival events. This will be the first performance for Singer Station since qualifying for the finals of “Don’t Stop Believing”, and I’m sure that all of West Dunbartonshire will be looking forward to getting a preview of what they can expect from them in the finals by coming along to see them at Christie Park Gala Day.”
