A top line up has just been confirmed for Clydebank Music Festival at Dalmuir Park on Sunday 4 July. Gates open at 12. Performances will run till 5 and Your Radio will MC the event.
Dave Ross from Your Radio says, “Dalmuir Park will have never seen the likes! Yes, it’s a live music event with a cracking line up will entertain the crowds. We have The Tzars, Ashley Collins, local boy band, Run from Red and Pussy Cat dolls tribute band, the Kitty Kat Dolls and The Saturdays tribute band, The Sundays.
West Dunbartonshire Council super busy Events Team are all keen to stress that there will be entertainment for all the family. “Whilst Your Radio will MC the main stage, there’s plenty to entertain the kids with magic shows, face painting and fun rides. It’s a family event and it’s free! Food and beverages are available on site. Fingers crossed for some sunshine and we are onto a winner. Don’t forget your sun screen!”
Headliners from Hull, The Tzars are renowned for their youthful and exciting energy. Charismatic front woman Zara is famous for playing guitar for Ricky Martin says, “We leave our audiences thrilled and exhausted.”
Manager Tony explains, “The band have a wealth of experience in high profile performance. You can expect every party song and floor filler you've ever heard. Performing songs from Abba to Lady GaGa, James Brown to Bob Marley with each song adapted to The Tzars unmistakeable style, full of energy, showmanship and choreographed mayhem. Let’s get the party started”
Ashley Collins is an Electro-Pop Singer/Songwriter from Glasgow who is currently writing and recording her debut album "Adulation" which will be out in August.
Ashley's music is catchy and infectious once heard never forgotten.
“The past few years have been amazing!” says Ashley. Her Debut Single is getting airplay at all of these local stations and has also went straight to number one on the UK Independent download Text Charts.
One of Ashley's album tracks SuperDiva is also being played at various nightclubs in Glasgow.
All she has to do now is get that all important record deal!
Clydebank band, Run from Red boy band Robert Woods - Lead Vocals, Michael McLaren - Rhythm Guitar, Stevie McLaren - Lead Guitar, Ross O'Neill - Bass Guitar and Ross Stewart on Drums have just released their debut single 'Jupiter Soulstar' on the 1st June with Up Next Records.
Band Manager Michael says. “The new single has been receiving some early media attention and radio airplay. The single is available on iTunes and all major download sites but the band are very keen to play live to their home crowd, so we are really looking forward to Sunday.”
Tribute act Kitty Kat Dolls from Glasgow, are the closest thing to the real Pussycat Dolls this side of the Atlantic and were recently dubbed the "Smash Kits" by the News of the World newspaper. The Kitty Kats say, “We take the tribute experience to a whole new level with a show full of bespoke choreography and original material alongside your favourite Pussycat Dolls hits. Saturday will be a ball!”
Last but not least, the Saturdays tribute act, The Sundays will also be strutting their stuff…on Sunday, 4 July at Dalmuir Park. The Clydebank Music Festival. This is an alcohol free event.
