Find Out More About Partial Stock Transfer at Public Meetings

As part of West Dunbartonshire Council’s commitment to open and effective communication, and to engaging with tenants at all stages in the proposed partial stock transfer process, a series of public meetings have been arranged during the month of October.

  • Thursday 21st October, Alexandria Community Centre, Main St, Alexandria, Dunbartonshire G83 0NU.

  • Tuesday 26th October, West Bridgend Community Centre, West Bridgend, Dumbarton G82 4BU.

  • Wednesday 27th October Lesser Hall, Clydebank Town Hall, 49 Dumbarton Road, Clydebank, G81 1TX.

All meetings will run between 7 and 8.30pm. These meetings have been arranged to provide the very latest update on the proposed stock transfer and how it affects you. During the sessions we will outline how stock transfer packages have been organised and explain what this means for tenants.

Come along to your local public meeting where you will have the opportunity to ask any questions of your own and share in the discussion about what happens next.

Fin McElhinney, Stock Transfer Manager at the Council, said: “The series of drop in events for tenants in July was a great success and we want to build on them with these public meetings. I hope that these meetings will also be used by tenants to come along and discuss the proposed stock transfer. It is important that tenants are fully informed so that they can make an informed choice when it comes to an independent ballot in 2012”
