Open Art Show Success

Private Viewing at Friday’s Open Art Show in West Dunbartonshire, was well attended and full of delighted artists to see their art work selected for the exhibition. The show this year which will run until Saturday December 20th 2008 and due to popular demand has comfortably transferred to the larger venue of Clydebank Museum and features over a hundred works by national and local artists.

 

The Open Art Exhibition is an excellent opportunity to view a broad selection of art work including collage, landscape, figurative work, still life and photography.

Some of the artists who's work is featured at the Open Art Show.

This is an ideal opportunity to purchase a unique Christmas present as all works are for sale! There are some serious bargains to be had as the artists exhibiting include JP McLaughlin, Pat Kramek, John Cartwright, Cynthia Wall, Carol Dewart and Gillian Birnie with all  local areas very well represented by artists including Cathie Ward, Anne Marshall, Andrew Mooney and Josephine Torrance.

 

For art lovers who don’t want to spend  money but would just enjoy the opportunity to see some great art works, with an incredible variety of style and content matter, all wrapped up in the one exhibition, then this is too good an opportunity to miss. Come down to Clydebank Museum, Clydebank Town Hall, Dumbarton Road, Clydebank. Admission is free to the exhibition and opening hours are as follows:

Tuesday - Saturday 10am to 1pm, 2.00pm to 4.30pm
