The Vale of Leven Pool is a well used community facility that has an excellent swimming development programme delivered in partnership with WDC’s Sports Development section. Quest made particular mention of the key partnerships with the Greater Glasgow and Clyde NHS Trust and the local Community Health Partnership, with a well established GP referral programme and various health and weight loss programmes being delivered in the facility. The Quest report highlighted that the facility “has developed good links with key partners, both internally and within the wider community and has an excellent and balanced programme of activity aimed at all sections of the community”.
The Meadow Sports Centre was commended for the positive customer care experience on offer and for its approach to equalities by providing excellent service for disabled customers. The Quest report highlighted the effective customer care training, excellent access for all and positive staff/customer relations as examples of best practice.
