Field Marshal Montgomery finished 7 points clear of Boghall and Bathgate Caledonia, who had their best finish since the British Championships in 2007
The Grade 1 drumming title was won by The House of Edgar Shotts and Dykehead, who performed on the day with two bass drummers.
West Dunbartonshire Council’s Provost and Games Chieftain, Denis Agnew said:
“With such a beautiful sunny summer’s day enticing more people to come along for a super family day out. The funfair, the Highland Dancing and the spectacle of the Pipe Bands and the Drum Major competitions made Saturday a day to remember in Levengrove Park with estimated crowds of between 25,000 and 30,000 attending.”

Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association, Chief Executive, Ian Embelton said,
