First stage

Our rent setting consultation will begin with a special participation event on wed 9/10/19 at Clydebank Town Hall , Hall Street, Clydebank ,G81 1EU on  Wednesday, 9th October 2019. Peter Barry, Strategic Lead for Housing will give an update on how tenants rent money is spent and about the different options on proposed rent levels. Tenants will be able to discuss these options and give their views on proposals before agreeing possible options that will be voted on by all tenants .

We want as many tenants as possible to have a chance to give their view and anyone wanting to come on the 9/10/19 will be made very welcome - catering ,transport and a crèche will be provided and so we can manage numbers and ensure we have enough crèche cover please let us know if you can come. ( contact details below).               

Will start at 10 am (open for tea/coffee from 9.45am ) and will finish with lunch from 12.45pm.

We will also have a speaker from the Scottish Housing Network  on Getting Value for money as well as staff from Working4U to help you make the most of your own money.     

Second stage

Rent options discussed at public event will then be put to a public vote – voting cards will be available in the winter edition of the Housing News , from your Housing Officer or will be able to vote online.  Voting will close on December 20th 2019.

Third stage

Tenants preferred option will be presented to Housing Committee for agreement in February 2020.
