Notice under Regulation 7(2) (b) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013.

The community is invited to view proposals for the New Community Green Space on the former St Eunan’s Primary School site for which a Proposal of Application Notice has been submitted – PAN17/001.

A public drop-in consultation will be held on Monday 27th November from 4.00pm to 7.30pm in the new St Eunan’s Primary School, Gilmour Street, Clydebank G81 2BW.

West Dunbartonshire Council is planning to develop the former St Eunan’s Primary School site which is located within a residential neighbourhood of Clydebank and is currently inaccessible and severely contaminated. The existing contamination will be capped and the site will be transformed into an attractive and exciting new Community Green Space with biodiversity areas, raised bed allotments, recreational areas for children, outdoor exercise equipment, and outdoor education areas as well as interpretation about the heritage of Clydebank. In addition, new accessible pedestrian routes will be provided through the site.

Outline plans and graphics will be on display at the event and Council Officers and Consultants will be present to answer any questions. Feedback forms will be available for completion at the event. People can also send their comments by email to regeneration@west-dunbarton.gov.uk or in writing to WDC Regeneration Team, Economic Development, Council Offices, Bridge Street, Dumbarton, G82 1NT .

Please note that this notice does not relate to a planning application. The purpose of the consultation is for the community to have an opportunity to contribute their views before a formal planning application is submitted. If a planning application is subsequently submitted, normal neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time and there will be an opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposals directly to the Planning Authority.
