Parent Councils' Resouces

Parentzone have made available a set of resources which are useful for parent councils.  The resources include the:

• parent council welcome pack and toolkit

• guidance on the Parental Involvement Act 2006

• national parent council newsletters

National Parent Forum of Scotland  

The National Parent Forum of Scotland has been set up to represent the views of parent councils at a national level.  The forum is parent led and independent of government. 

A newsletter was started in June 2010 to open communication with parent councils throughout Scotland.  The newsletter is available on the National Parent Forum of Scotland website.
