The arts are an important part of education. In West Dunbartonshire we give access to music and dance opportunities through the Instrumental Music Service and The Stand dance studio.
The Instrumental Music Service offers tuition on upper and lower strings, brass, woodwind, percussion and guitar (accoustic and electric) to pupils from P4 onwards. Tuition is offered in all of our primary and secondary establishments as well as in Kilpatrick School.
The Stand offers a varied set of classes based around exercise and dance. They offer theatre visits so there is the chance to see as much dance as possible.
