Collections
Professional development
This collection offers support materials on professional issues for teachers, nursery nurses & classroom assistants. We have a large collection of CPD material including those for the Scottish Qualification for Headship.
Topic boxes
We have over 800 topic boxes at 3 levels to support Curriculum for Excellence. These are usually available for a term.
Artefact boxes
A small collection of artefact boxes is available to enhance learning.
Early Stages boxes
Themed boxes for the pre-school curriculum are available. Lists of these collections are available on request.
Learning development
There is a large collection of puzzles, games and toys for special needs.
School libraries
We offer support and advice to primary schools on the selection, organisation and management of resources. This includes help with developing a library policy, editing and classifying resources, creating a library database and helping develop whole-school information skills.
Meeting rooms
We have four meeting rooms available, which can be booked by contacting EDSU. Catering is available on request.
