West Dunbartonshire Council's Vocational Programme provides a range of taster, 1 year and 2 year work-related experiences. This includes Skills for Work which gives young people in their third year at Secondary School the opportunity to take a 2 year vocational course.
Courses are extremely practical and delivered in partnership with Clydebank College, Council's Leisure Services, schools, partner agencies such as Careers Scotland and various employers in the private and voluntary sectors. This allows young people the resources they need to gain a recognised qualification and increase future employment prospects.

The programme offers various vocational qualifications to young people in West Dunbartonshire. This gives young people the chance to learn in a college or workplace setting.
