Primary 7 on the television

Dumbarton’s very own Aitkenbar Primary Schools Primary 7 have been taking part in a CBBC programme called XCHANGE. The main part that we are taking part in is CLASS WARS.
CLASS WARS is when two schools compete to win a place in the final so that they might be able to get a pop star or pop group to play at their school .

They are all ready into the finals and have played and beat 2 schools , the schools were Balmuildy and Thomas Ellis Primary School.

Next week 4 lucky, lucky pupils will be going down to London to compete in the finals the will be going down with their fab teacher Miss Sonka.
We have more of an update now, we have found out that the 4 lucky pupils are Jamie , Dean , Rachel and Gillian .

They will be going down to London on Thursday 17th March. The 4 children have to come down their school at about 6:40am and two cars will pick them up and take them to Glasgow Airport. They will then fly down to London Heathrow.

Two cars will then pick them up at Heathrow Airport and take them to the CBBC Studios on Wood Lane . Where they will meet the presenters, camera crew and their competitors who are from York ,we are not sure of the schools name.
They will get their Lunch and Dinner there.

One of the challenges includes Miss Sonka putting her face in something. We are still not sure of the other challenges yet.

Two other teachers will be coming they are Mrs Allerdyce and Mr Jones.
I have spoken to the 4 lucky contenders and they can’t wait to bring the trophy and party home to Aitkenbar.

Jamie said “The trophy’s coming home to where it belongs.”
Rachel also commented that “we are definitely going to win!”
After all that hilarity they will fly home hopefully with the trophy!
