Eragon by Christopher Paolini

A good book in any case, about a teenager who finds a strange stone. Little does he know he is about to enter an adventure of magic, treachery, love, friendship, elf, dwarves, dragons and

kings!

It all began in The Spine, a treacherous mountain pass that few came back from. Eragon was hunting deer when an explosion scared them away. What was once a clump of trees was now an open clearing, this is where it all began.

The Chronicles of Darkness by Michelle Paver
('Wolf Brother', 'Spirit Walker ', 'Soul Eater')

I like the Chronicles of Darkness because you could never tell what was coming next and there were a lot of twists. The things Torak can do are pretty cool too. I think Michelle Paver is a good writer and I can't wait till Book 4 called 'Outcast' comes out.

Remembrance by Theresa Breslin

This book was so amazing and transfixing that I read it more than once. It is a story about love, romance, hate, happiness and sadness. This is a war tale like no other. It is exciting and romantic at the same time. You'll laugh and you'll cry, and with a surprising ending you will not want to put this book down.
