The after school athletic club is attended by 20, P7 pupils. The Club is run by Mrs Rankin, who is a senior athletic's coach and she keeps the children running, jumping and throwing.
The children are trying out all the different athletic events like shot put, hammer, javelin, discus, high jump, hurdles and a lot of running. Since St Mary's does not have a sand pit, the children can only practice the long jump from a standing position. Sometimes we play games like dodge ball, basketball and football.
