OUR VISION AND AIMS

We aspire to become an excellent school.  In striving to achieve this aim, we will;

  • support the health and wellbeing of all pupils, staff and parents within a happy, secure and inclusive school environment, where all members feel equally valued and respected and know that they have a voice which will be listened to

  • co-operate with the parish of St. Mary’s to promote gospel values and embrace the Christian ethos

  • develop the highest standards of reflective teaching in every area of the curriculum and enable all pupils and staff to become confident and successful learners

  • work together as parents, pupils and staff to benefit the individual child, the school and the community as a whole

  • provide a wide range of high quality learning experiences which give pupils opportunities to be active participants in the learning process and develop their ability to take responsibility for their own learning

  • develop pupils’ understanding of the world, of their place in it and of their responsibility to take care of the environment

  • motivate, support and challenge all pupils and staff to enable them to achieve their fullest potential.

 OUR SCHOOL by the PUPILS

What we want it to be like;

  • we want people to want to come to our school because it is an exciting place to be

  • in our school EVERYONE in it should be kind and respectful towards each other

  • we think we should learn by using the computers so that our hands don’t get sore from too much handwriting

  • we like to learn in groups because it’s good fun

  • we like sports with our teachers and learning assistants and we want to keep it up!
