This helps to ensure that local clubs are adhering to national and local best practice, and therefore providing the local children, young people and adults in West Dunbartonshire with safe and quality participation opportunities.
Clubs achieving the first level of the scheme, Recreational Status, can make use of the Quality Club brand. This brand proves to schools, teachers, parents, guardians and the wider community that a club is safe and effective. Such clubs helps create an effective infrastructure for sport in our area, and are vital to the development of a successful and sustainable sports development pathway from grassroots to elite level.
