Hello my name is Sonya Peddie and I am the Community Development Worker for the Dumbarton area. I assist community groups to identify their needs and work with them to develop learning and training opportunities such as committee skills, confidence building and sourcing funding. In addition, I develop and deliver family and intergenerational learning opportunities.
Hi my name is Christine Thexton and I am the Community Development Worker for all the areas within Clydebank. In my role, I promote community engagement and community capacity building within these local areas. The focus of my work is to encourage residents to come together and utilise development opportunities via funding, learning and Upskilling. The aim of my practice is to provide local people with a catalyst for positive change in their living and working environments.
Hello my name is Alan Deans and I am a Community Development Worker, focusing on the Vale of Leven area. I assist various local groups to develop their skills to allow for meaningful participation within the community.
