Introduction
The West Dunbartonshire Council Outdoor Education service is based in the 200-acre Balloch Castle Country Park. Nestling on the shores of Loch Lomond we are in the heart of Scotland's first national park. With woodlands, mountains and water right on our doorstep we have the perfect setting to experience, explore and enjoy a variety of adventure sports and activities.
Outdoor Education

Safety
Here at WDC OES safety is paramount. Whatever you choose to do we want you to enjoy this very special Scottish landscape safely. All activities are therefore routinely risk assessed, follow standard operating procedures, National Governing Body guidelines (NGB) and the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) recommendations.
