Our staff

Our Service is made up of a team based in Duntocher. At present we have the following staff:

 

  • Principal and Depute Principal Psychologist,

  • 4 Senior Psychologists

  • 3 Psychologists

  • 2.5 clerical assistants

 

 

Educational Psychologists

To become an Educational Psychologist takes at least 9 years and covers all aspects of child development and learning. Educational Psychologists require to be chartered with the British Psychological Society

 

Educational Psychologists are expected to have knowledge about:

 

  • child development

  • learning and/or social and emotional difficulties that can arise

  • developmental conditions

  • approaches to learning which enable children and young people to develop fully
