CEDAR Project- Children experiencing domestic abuse recovery project
Domestic Abuse includes: Emotional, Physical, Mental, Financial and Sexual.
Has your family experienced any of the above? If so, and you are a woman with children aged 4-16 then the CEDAR Project may be able to help
CEDAR is a group work programme for mothers and children and aims to create a safe space where you can talk openly about your experiences and the impact domestic abuse has had on your lives. CEDAR also aims to strengthen the Mother/Child relationships.
Groupwork programmes are 1-2 hours per week for 12 weeks. Transport can be provided if necessary and support may be available for childcare.

CARA Children and Young People
Free and confidential service for children and young people affected by Domestic Abuse. Counselling support information and advocacy is available to all children and young people aged 4-16 (young men up to age 18). Please contact for more information 01389 738664.
