Domestic abuse includes emotional, physical, mental, financial and sexual abuse.
West Dunbartonshire Violence Against Women Partnership (WDVAWP) brings together agencies who work together to improve and co-ordinate services for women, children and young people.
Keeping women and children safe from all forms of violence is a national priority for both the Scottish Government and Local Authorities. A publication you can refer to is Safer Lives - changed Lives, A Shared Approach to Tackling against women in Scotland.
WDVAWP can arrange and deliver training and information to agencies, colleges, universities and community groups on a range of violence against women issues including access to a pool of national trainers.
Training can be tailored to the specific need of your agency or group. National Training Resources can be found at the Women's support Project. WDVAWP can provide leaflets in a range of languages and have access to resources on gender based violence. Access to the resource library is by request and appointment only.
