A key aim of the Department is to ensure that communities are involved in the development of the policies and the services which they provide.
The first Big 5 event was held in March 2009 at the Town Hall in Clydebank and the feedback from the event was that tenants and residents would like the event to be repeated the following year. In response to this request, the Big 5 event was held again in April 2010. The location this year was Centre 81 in Clydebank.
The Big 5 is a consultation event. The event is an opportunity for tenants and residents from across West Dunbartonshire to take part in open discussions with officers about five specific areas of the Council’s housing service. The sections involved were:

The questionnaire was issued to all 28 attendees. Of those who attended, 19 completed the questionnaire resulting in a response rate of 68%. Attendance was higher at the event last year, 41 people attended and 63% of them completed the exit survey.
