Your Chance to Help the Next Generation
Volunteer to Sit on Your Local Children’s Panel
We’re looking for ordinary people to do an extraordinary thing: make a difference to a child’s life. Panel Members are trained to see the child as well as the problem. You don’t need special qualifications to sit on your local Children’s Panel, what you need is the ability to listen before helping children.
The West Dunbartonshire Children’s Panel Advisory Committee is looking for volunteers over 18 who can make rational decisions. Above all they need people who can commit some time to help vulnerable children in their area – children who may have been neglected, abused, in trouble at school or even with the law.
Scotland’s unique system puts the child first. If you live or work in the West Dunbartonshire area you could sit on your local Children’s Panel.
