WEST DUNBARTONSHIRE CHILDREN`S PANEL

What kind of people are Panel Members?

 

 

  • Ordinary men and women are Panel Members.
  • If you are 18 years of age and upwards you can volunteer to become a panel member.
  • Some people such as police, social workers, and Justices of the Peace cannot become members since their work might cause a conflict of interest with their panel membership.
  • A criminal conviction is not necessarily a bar to membership, but, naturally, careful enquiries must be made.
