The Council Produces an annual Equalities Bulletin and is currently developing a range of equality leaflets.
Equalities Bulletin 2010
The Council’s Annual Equalities Bulletin for 2010 was published and distributed in March/ April 2010 via our website, council offices, libraries, community centres and other key locations. The Bulletin provides an update on progress on different areas of equalities work across the Council during 2009-10.
This edition launches the Council’s “Equality Scheme 2009-12”, “Disability Profile” and “Clear the Way” leaflet. It also includes articles on a shop mobility scheme, a national award for a schools project tackling bullying, the Citizen’s Panel, a newly forming group the ISARO Social Network, the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Network and information on the changes to the laws on hate crime.

Equality Scheme 2009-12 Leaflet
We have produced a leaflet which summarises the content of the Equality Scheme 2009-12. We are currently Developing a Communication Plan, which sets out what information we will provide and how we will provide it.
As part of this plan, we will be developing further leaflets on individual areas of equality's during 2010.
