We enforce the laws that are designed to protect young people from harmful products such as tobacco, solvent products and fireworks, and also the age classification laws for videos and DVDs. We give advice to retailers on the law and best practice methods. Surveillance and test-purchasing methods are key to identifying those who do not comply.
