Clydebank Town Hall is the largest venue in the area for social, musical, dramatic engagements and public meetings. The Town Hall is also home to the District Court, the Council Chambers and the town’s Public Marriage facilities.
There are a number of facilities for hire within Clydebank Town Hall:
The Large Hall
Plus:
- The Lecture Room (Upstairs)
- The Court Room
- Witness Rooms
Each of these rooms/halls varies in size and purpose therefore advice should be sought from the booking office on the most suitable venue.
Each facility is normally available for booking purposes between 9.00 a.m. to 10.00p.m. with the Large and Lesser Halls having later hours of opening to accommodate social events. Kitchen and bar facilities are available. For those seeking to hire a venue for a social evening, it should be noted that the booking staff do not deal with liquor licensing. The Halls booking office staff can advise on how to arrange a liquor licence.
Although civic marriages are regularly performed at the Town Hall, these are arranged by the staff of the Section, who are located at the Council’s offices at Rosebery Place, Clydebank. Although Halls booking staff cannot make arrangements for civic marriages, they regularly collaborate with Registar’s staff to provide a marriage and wedding reception package.
