WELCOME TO THE MUSEUM WITHOUT WALLS


This website showcases the history of West Dunbartonshire through its heritage collections, based at Clydebank Museum and the local history departments.

Museum Without Walls is an ongoing project, first developed to illustrate the impact of World War II on local communities.  The Victorians is the latest addition and focuses on West Dunbartonshire from 1837-1901, a period of huge social and industrial change.  Please keep visiting the website for future updates.
