The Joint Transport Strategy has been produced by the West of Scotland Transport Partnership (WESTRANS), a joint committee of 13 local roads authorities and Strathclyde Passenger Transport (SPT), the passenger transport authority and executive for West Central Scotland.
The Strategy sets out how WESTRANS and SPT intend to invest in and maintain the best possible sustainable transport network to support the economy of the West of Scotland, promote social inclusion and enhance the environment for the people who live, work, visit and enjoy the region.
