This major exhibition focuses on the Textile Industries in the Vale of Leven, Duntocher, Milton and Hardgate. In their heyday these local industries were world renowned.

Strathclyde Joint Police Board is looking for responsible members of the community willing to carry out occasional visits to police stations to check on the welfare and care of people detained following arrest. The purpose of such visits is to ensure that an individual’s legal rights are observed and the conditions in which they are held are acceptable.
