A beacon has been lit at the top of Dumbarton Castle to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
Part of wider celebrations nationally, the event saw Provost Douglas McAllister and Chief Executive Joyce White OBE join Dunbartonshire Vice Lord Lieutenant Linda Moffat and piper Colin Lawrie, who played a special piece of music written for the occasion.
The Vice Lord Lieutenant made a short speech before lighting the beacon above West Dunbartonshire on Thursday 2 June.
