It's time to dust off your kilts as the Loch Lomond Highland Games returns after two years to the Moss O’ Balloch Park on Saturday 16 July.

The competition is one of the best in Scotland, with a prize pool of over £12,000 and former participants coming from as far afield as the United States and Canada to compete.

Amateur and professional competitors alike can register for the games, which will feature a variety of disciplines including running, cycling, wrestling, jumping, solo piping, pipe bands, highland dancing, and the tug of war.

The Scottish Highland Games Association World Heavyweight Championship – which includes caber, hammer, and ball – will undoubtedly be the highlight.
