Depute Provost John Millar and Lord Lieutenant for Dunbartonshire Jill Young welcomed Lord High Commissioner Hodge for a tour around West Dunbartonshire Energy Centre this week.

The royal representative to the 2022 General Assembly of the Church of Scotland was told how the facility takes water from the Clyde to heat nearby homes and buildings, reducing the Council’s carbon footprint as well as helping alleviate fuel poverty.

Lord High Commissioner Hodge was also joined by ward councillors in Clydebank and representatives from Vital Energi and Star Refrigeration.
