West Dunbartonshire Council's Church Street offices will be lit purple tonight (Monday) in a show of support for World Mental Health Day.

Every October the World Health Organisation observes a day of awareness that highlights the need to ensure that mental health is treated on a par with physical health.

Mental health problems exist in our lives, families, workplaces and communities, impacting everyone.

World Mental Health Day is also a chance to talk about mental health in general, how we need to look after it, and how important it is to talk about things and get help if you are struggling.

This year's theme is making mental health a global priority for all. Togetherall has a community full of people from all walks of life, coming together to get (or give) the mental health support they need.

Someone somewhere will understand how you’re feeling, and they’d love to hear your story. If you are 16+, you can join the Togetherall community today for FREE at togetherall.com
