The Council is committed to keeping the rent increase as low as possible but there are decisions to be made and tenants can get involved.
We have increased tenant involvement in rent setting over the last couple of years and tenant volunteers are in our Joint Rent Group who have had discussions on possible rent options. Information about the estimated Housing Revenue spending and possible options were also discussed at a public meeting on Tuesday 27/11/18 in Clydebank Town Hall.
All tenants now have an opportunity to have their say in a vote for their preferred rent option – information and a freepost voting card will be included in the Winter Housing News which is delivered to all tenants or you can vote by completing the survey below.
Voting closes on 22/1/19 and the outcome of the survey will inform the decision the Council makes in February when rent levels are set.
Get involved - if you want to come along or want more information please contact Jane Mack on 01389 737281, text 07811 814 402 or email email@example.com.
