The annual rent setting consultation began with a virtual zoom meeting on Thursday 11 November at 4pm when Peter Barry (Chief Housing Officer) and Janice Rainey (Finance Manager) set out Housing Services’ financial position and options for tenants to consider.
All tenants now have the opportunity to have their say on their preferred option.
The information on the options is also being posted out to all tenants and there are a number of different ways to vote to make it as easy as possible for everyone,

The consultation will close on 20 January 2022 and Councils will agree the rent increase in March 2022. All tenants will be informed of the outcome and what it means for their rent charge.
