In terms of Section 349 of the Gambling Act 2005, West Dunbartonshire Licensing Board is required to publish a Statement of Principles (“Statement”), which it proposes to apply in exercising its functions under the Act for a three year period.  The Board carried out a review of its Policy Statement and published it in 2019 and it now falls to be reviewed and revised in terms of the Act.

West Dunbartonshire Licensing Board is the Licensing Authority for the West Dunbartonshire area for the purpose of the Gambling Act 2005 and any subsequent regulations and guidance.

As part of this consultation, the Licensing Board would like to hear from consultees on whether there are any additional factors that the Board might take into account of in the final published version.
