You can pay your building insurance online quickly and simply using the Council's website.

Pay building insurance online

Please ensure that you have your invoice number (this can be found on your invoice), a valid debit or credit card and if you have an email account your email address to allow us to send your receipt.

Payment by telephone

Payments can be made using our automated payment line to pay by debit or credit card.

Payment by Standing Order

Monthly payments by standing order can be arranged by telephoning the Corporate Debt Team on 0800 337 703.

Payment by post 

You can send a cheque payable to West Dunbartonshire Council to:

G82 3PU

We advise you write your invoice number on the reverse of your payment. 

Payments in person

You can visit the above office to make your building insurance payment by cheque, postal order, cash, or credit/debit card.  You can also make payments at our One Stop Shop in Alexandria or Clydebank.
