Looking to Secure a Job

Kickstart Scheme

Kickstart is for young people aged between 16 and 24, who are claiming Universal Credit and may be at risk of long-term unemployment. If this is you, you can get the opportunity of a new, high quality job - working 25 hours a week, for 6 months with a Employer. During this time you will earn a wage based on the National Minimum Wage. Referral to this programme is by Department of Work and Pensions Work Coach only - so speak to your work coach or if you don’t know who that is by registering with Working4U we can help you work with DWP to find out if you are eligible for the Scheme.
