Old Dalnottar Cemetery , Great Western Road, Old Kilpatrick
There will be a Service of Commemoration to mark the Clydebank Blitz Anniversary on Saturday, 16 March 2024 at the Blitz Memorial in Old Dalnottar Cemetery, Clydebank. The Service will begin at 11 am will last approximately 15 minutes.
After the Service, there will be a Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Polish Memorial at Solidarity Plaza, opposite Clydebank Town Hall, at approximately 11.30 am.
Guests are asked to note that there is no designated parking at Old Dalnottar Cemetery. Cars are able to drive into the cemetery and park alongside the pathways but care should be taken to avoid the grass. Parking is also limited at the Town Hall, however additional parking is available on Miller Street (opposite Town Hall), on Dumbarton Road or nearby side streets.
